Practice Makes Perfect | All About Me Mondays | Brooke Marcella Photography

I'm so sorry for such a late upload...BUT it's still Monday, so I'm still ok! This week was a busy one for me as I moved from one dorm to another and started training for my CA job, called an RA at most schools where I keep all the freshies in line ;). It took my mom and me 6 hours to move all my stuff, in the 100-degree heat! But I’m glad to be all settled in, pictures to come soon once I finish decorating.

This weekend I got an awesome opportunity to attend a workshop with the amazing Chea Lamb from Chea Lamb Photography! I have wanted to attend a workshop of some sort for a couple months now, but it just never seemed to work out, so I was thrilled when Chea’s offer came around. We headed out to the Salt River Saturday afternoon and I was blown away by the location. I have lived in Arizona my whole life and have never been to the river…I know I know I’ve been missing out! I could shoot there for hours and never get tired of it and the models were gorgeous as well, which makes for an easy job :). Chea taught us tips about lighting, camera settings, and posing and I really tried stepping out of my comfort zone with posing and went for some edgy poses that really turned out amazing! I’m so glad I attended!

Sunday I wanted to get a little more practice in, so I stole my best friend, Steph for a quick little shoot in Florence. She’s such a trooper through heat and bug :) This weekend was full of practice because practice makes perfect!
