Windmill Winery Wedding | Kaitlyn + Dan

This Windmill Winery Wedding has been in the works for a year and a half and I was so excited it finally came! I shot Kaitlyn + Dan's engagement session in San Diego last summer and it was so much fun having out with them and getting to know them better. They have had a rough year, but came out even stronger and were ready to celebrate with all of their family and friends. While photographing the girls getting ready they were so sweet and made sure everything was taken care of, such amazing bridesmaids! Their ceremony was performed by Kaitlyn's aunt and it was such a beautiful and personal touch. I love when couples include little touches like that that make the wedding even more special :) Kaitlyn and Dan's wedding vows were perfect and they ended their Windmill Winery Wedding ceremony with a wine box.

I love the concept of this new tradition. The couple each writes a letter to the other personal and they seal it up in a box with a bottle of wine. When times get tough and they are feeling extra stressed they can open the box and read the letters they wrote to one another reminding them how special their love is...so sweet!!
