You know when you are a little kid and all you want is this favorite toy and you just can't contain yourself when you actually get it? That's how I felt when Brittani + Adam asked me to photograph their Maui Wedding! I knew these were the perfect couple to travel across the ocean for. They are fun, caring, and adventurous...what more could you want ;) As we gathered for the rehearsal on their backyard overlooking the ocean and ran though the ceremony one of my favorite moments happened. All the family and wedding party had stepped away and it was just us and their officiant Phil, who is a family friend. They held each others hands and I watched as Brittani's eyes teared up as Phil softly spoke the words that were so true to them. It was such an intimate moment and you could just see and feel the love between everyone. And it's the moments like that that make me fall even more in love with my job.
